Partners
CIMA’s partners are research and scientific institutions focused on converting combustion by-products (CBPs) into fully valuable materials, as well as companies producing materials based on CBPs.
Through our collaboration, we jointly conduct research required in our country and develop products sought by the domestic market. We provide knowledge and production expertise for the energy sector and stakeholders interested in turning “gray” into “gold.”
CIMA partners form a collaborative network connecting science, administration, and industry.
This ensures that the technologies and CBP management models we develop are created in dialogue with real market needs while remaining compliant with national and European regulations.
Currently, we cooperate with three main groups of partners:
Scientific Partners
These are research and academic institutions that contribute to CIMA’s knowledge base and research infrastructure. Scientific collaboration includes joint R&D projects, the development of research methods, publications, and personnel training.
The main scientific partners are the faculties and institutes of the Warsaw University of Technology.
Regulatory Partners
Public, industry, and standardization institutions that shape the legal and quality frameworks for CBPs. Collaboration includes interpretation of regulations (by-product / end-of-waste), environmental consultations, standardization, and the development of best implementation practices.
The main regulatory partner is ECOBA.
Business Partners
Companies and operators of energy or industrial facilities that supply CBP streams, co-develop technologies for their valorization, and participate in industrial implementations and testing.
