The Warsaw University of Technology is a particularly important place for implementing ideas related to the conservation of natural resources. It is here that future engineers are educated, whose knowledge of the circular economy, focused on its practical application in the economy, will lead to the creation of new business models and the implementation of solutions supporting the circular economy in enterprises.

For this reason, we strive to ensure that circular economy principles are clearly present in the educational process, including in courses such as Environmental Protection in Infrastructure Development and Sustainable Development Policy. The dynamic development of infrastructure relies on the use of both natural and secondary resources, and the relationship with the environment is fundamental in this area. The circular economy is a key tool we must adopt to achieve sustainable development goals. The aim of these lectures is, among other things, to outline to students the development prospects in this field for the coming decades. For some, this may become an interesting challenge for the future, including their personal growth and professional careers.

Below, we present the results of the work of our team and first-year master’s students at the Faculty of Building Services, Hydro, and Environmental Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. These include lecture materials, materials on the circular economy analyzed by students, and presentations prepared by the students.
